Becoming A Sister

Becoming a Sister

As baptized, Roman Catholic Christians, God is calling us to deepen our life commitment. There are various ways of fulfilling this commitment through married, single or religious life. Some Christians desire to fulfill their commitment through religious life. Is God calling you to religious life?

Our Mission Statement

We live and work to bring all people into union with God and with one another, serving their spiritual and corporal needs in all works of mercy within our power.

Signs of BECOMING a Sister…

You have a deep desire to give more of yourself in service to God and neighbor
You have a nagging feeling deep inside that God is calling you to something deeper
You desire to follow Jesus more closely by bringing unity and reconciliation to a broken world
You yearn to stand with the poor, working to alleviate conditions of poverty and oppression
You wish to promote ecological justice
You desire to live a life that supports personal and communal prayer
You want to live in a community with women who share your desire to love and serve God

If you are experiencing some of these thoughts and feelings, you could be called to be a Sister of St. Joseph of Orange. If you wish to explore the call to religious life, please call or write:
