Taller San Jose
Taller San Jose (St. Joseph’s Workshop)
is an innovative program that provides undereducated
and unskilled young adults who have taken the wrong
path with the education, job training and rehabilitation
necessary to find employment at a living wage.
The Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange opened Taller
San Jose in 1995 in response to the prevalence
of crime and gang violence in Santa Ana, California.
Since its founding, Taller San Jose has helped
more than 4,000 troubled young adults to restructure
their lives, develop marketable skills and find
gainful employment. Its programs help lay the foundation
for a student’s future stability and success,
while instilling the values of reliability, responsibility
and trustworthiness.
