St. Joseph Center
St. Joseph Center (SJC), oftentimes referred to
as the Motherhouse Grounds, is a home for active
and retired Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange, and
is the site of several ministries and the administration
of the Congregation. It exists to serve and extend
the mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange:
to bring people into union with God and with one
another. St. Joseph Center’s activities are
characterized by mutuality and collaboration.
Meeting space is available for outside groups
by contacting the Special Events Coordinator at
(714) 633-8121 ext. 7112 or cshoemaker@csjorange.org.
Audio/Visual equipment is available and catering
can be arranged for most groups. Rooms available
for booking are listed below.

Auditorium
The Auditorium can be used for meetings,
graduations, and performances. It seats 511 in
theater style seating.

Auditorium Lounge
Within the Auditorium is a lounge
area that can be sectioned off from the larger
space. The resulting rectangular room can seat
up to 60 people.

Classrooms
Two classrooms are available with capacities
of 26 and 34.

Library Conference Room
Located at the back of the St. Joseph Library,
this location can seat 60 people at tables.

Mother Louis Room
The Mother Louis Room can be used for meetings
or special lunches and banquets. It seats 200
people at round tables, or 275 without tables.

Center for Spiritual Development
Serene meeting
space is also available at the Center for Spiritual
Development (CSD). The CSD is a non-profit ministry
sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange
and is located in the northwest corner of St.
Joseph Center. For more information or to make
