About the event

In the month of February, you are invited to an online four-session book study featuring The Girl’s Still Got it: Take a Walk with Ruth and the God who Rocked Her World. Published in 2012 by New York Times best-selling author Liz Curtis Higgs, this book continues to fascinate readers today. The author’s vivid style and conversational approach make the ancient story of Ruth from the Bible very relatable for contemporary readers. In addition, Higgs sheds light on cultural aspects of Ruth’s time that sometimes remain obscured for the modern reader.

The four weeks of the book study correspond to the four chapters of the Book of Ruth. Using the Bible and Higgs’ book, we are invited to get to know Ruth better. We may even detect how the story is applicable for our own lives and how God rocks our world.
