About the event

"Here. Come here. Take a moment to set aside that list you’ve been writing in fluorescent ink. ... Gather your burdens in a basket in your heart...”  ~ Mirabai Starr, Wild Mercy

The past several years have challenged us with great uncertainty, complex losses, and differing expectations at work and home. In this 24/7 hyper-connected world, don’t you sometimes feel exhausted, drained, burned out?

Join us for an afternoon of spiritual refreshment guided by author and interspiritual teacher Mirabai Starr as we explore and delight in the healing potential of Sabbath and the sacred feminine through Mirabai's input and insight into spiritual practices, as well as ritual and guided journaling.

Mirabai Starr is an award-winning author, contemporary translator of sacred literature, international speaker, and world-renowned teacher of contemplative practice and inter-spiritual dialog. A certified bereavement counselor, she helps mourners harness the transformational power of loss. Her book, WILD MERCY: Living the Fierce & Tender Wisdom of the Women Mystics, continues to sell widely and has been translated into multiple languages.

This event will be offered in-person only. The cost for attending is $75. Please check your spam / junk mail folder for communication from Center for Spiritual Development. If you have questions, please call (714) 744-3172 or email thecsd@csjorange.org
